The first color TV available to the public WITH NO MOVING PARTS is the Westinghouse 15", out a few weeks BEFORE the RCA CT-100, and cost about $1300 as opposed to the CT-100 $1000 price tag. The Westinghouse used the CT-100 CRT and CRT components from RCA. The chassis was a Westinghouse design. The Westinghouse chassis used R-Y B-Y demodulation as opposed to I-Q demodulation in the RCA CT-100. The Westinghouse, besides being the first, was also the only all-electronic color TV that had a user color synchronization control knob. Colors broke into rainbows if it was miss-adjusted. This color sync control should not be confused with the color synchronization function of the short-lived electronic-mechanical CBS Color TV receivers. (After 1951, CBS receivers could no longer receive color broadcasts in color.) Ohgddfp (talk) 17:10, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
