Rename
[edit]- Rename - should be full name written out not the acronym and the country. SirIsaacBrock 22:07, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Disagree, apparently the legal name of the society is CPA Australia. Psnae 13:29, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Certified Practising Accountant
[edit]Certified Practising Accountant is the designation. The legal name of the society is CPA Australia. Details
"CPA Australia is the new company and business name for the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (ASCPA), effective April 2000."
"CPA Australia" has less gravitas than the former name IMHO but it's the course they chose to take. Psnae 00:55, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Picture: Canberra Office
[edit]The head office of CPA Australia is in Melbourne. Having a picture of the Canberra office is misleading Tessiej (talk) 04:27, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Wanting to move the picture of the Canberra Office to another spot in the article. As stated above, not the head office and should really be a picture of the Melbourne office comment added by M Meerkat (talk • contribs) 05:44, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
External links modified

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}

Kathryn Campbell
[edit]The inclusion of a mention of Kathryn Campbell as an FCPA is not warranted as there is no list of notable members. Including her (and just her) in this article would be placing undue weight on the subject. If you want to add a list of notable members, including ms campbell, then that could be acceptable. Her inclusion should also be backed up with references that cite whether she is actually a member. The use of "disgraced" in the absence of various reliable references (note: you have not referenced your addition) that clearly describe her as such is a violation of WP:BLP and WP:NPOV, which requires a dispassionate tone and avoids loaded language. The onus is not on me to reference your work.Siegfried Nugent (talk) 06:44, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
