Definition of first wave and second wave of Covid 19
[edit]There is some debate as to what we should consider to be the first wave and what we should consider the second wave. It has been suggested that we are still going up the first wave and that we will reach the very top of the first wave in January - February 2021 and the second wave will reach it's peak in January - February 2022 if there even is a second wave at all. Come to think of it these new definitions seem very likely to play out. If these new definitions become accepted lets just hope that there is no second wave at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vic20usa (talk • contribs) 22:13, 27 August 2020 (UTC)

The Haiti article
[edit]Every Wuhan coronavirus-infected country has an article, except for Haiti. What gives?--Adûnâi (talk) 02:56, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
Content
[edit]You know, the summary table is useful but the national information is not being updated. Should the article be limited to the table and the national information be removed? Liz Read! Talk! 03:54, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
San Andrés and Providencia
[edit]An entry has been added for San Andrés and Providencia, however the link directs to Colombia and the Colombia contains no information about the island. The island is part of the Caribbean and in North America, but it seems to be a blank spot on the Corona map. Does anybody have an idea how to improve this? Map in use is from July 2020
[edit]Data is no longer accurate. I think it should be removed, labelled or replaced with a more recent iteration. It is unfortunate because there are not that many maps that include the entire continent. Oceanflynn (talk) 23:42, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Incorrect date of first cases?
[edit]There seems to be a contradiction on when the first cases in North America were reported.
The introductory sentence(which lacks a citation) says "The first cases of the COVID-19 pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 in North America were reported in the United States on 23 January 2020."
But the section on the United States (which has a citation that agrees with its date) says "On 20 January, the United States confirmed its first case, of a 35-year-old man". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chconnor (talk • contribs) 19:49, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
An editor has started an RfC about whether the announcement by the FBI and the U.S. Department of Energy that they support the COVID-19 lab leak theory should be in the lede of the COVID-19 lab leak theory article. Interested editors are invited to contribute. TarnishedPathtalk 23:50, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
