29 June: A study reports that two raw sewage samples collected independently on 27 November 2019 in Santa Catarina, Brazil, detected SARS-CoV-2 (100,000 copies per litre), 66 days in advance of the first COVID-19 confirmed case in the Americas. Subsequent samplings were positive on 11 December and 20 February. These samples can show that SARS-CoV-2 was circulating in Brazil at least as early as late November 2019.[63][non-primary source needed]
It appears above, in the 2019 section. The information doesn't need to be provided twice (it's the definition of "redundant"), and it's better to provide the information at the point when it occurs, late 2019, rather than the date when it was reported, 29 June. The date of the report really doesn't matter that much, in contrast to the date of the event itself. 74.98.192.38 (talk) 17:15, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
