Relation to diabetes
[edit]While it is early work, editors here may wish to read "Disruption of the clock components CLOCK and BMAL1 leads to hypoinsulinaemia and diabetes" doi:10.1038/nature09253 in todays Nature. Be sure to check out the supplementary information too.
CLOCK, Clock or CLOCK?
[edit]Outside of references and direct quotes, can we have some kind of WP:ARTCON on how this is styled? There is a big mix. Is there a different standard for describing the protein and the gene? I've not the expertise to make a bold change myself. 85.238.91.38 (talk)
Kaput
[edit]Does the last letter of this acronym refer to "kaput" in some technical sense? It colloquially means "broken". I came here to see what it means in this context and I remain disappointed that it remains unaddressed. ThreeRocks (talk) 21:39, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
