Much of the introduction of this article is general information about particle accelerators rather than specific information relating only to the CLAS detector. It should focus more on what the CLAS detector does rather than how particle accelerators work with appropriate wikilinks to pages describing the general forms applied specifically here. The introductory information given here is too educational and reflects a bias toward an audience with essentially no knowledge of physics. As a physicist that has worked at this laboratory and in Hall B, I think this information should be condensed and referenced rather than summarized as is.2601:182:4381:E60:E93A:37E5:93D8:715D (talk) 20:09, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I would not take much out of this article, but more could certainly be put in. Remembers that you are not writing for physicists but for the curious lay public. Start simple and get more elaborate. The best thing you could do is find a good picture of CLAS that is not copyrighted and try to get Wikipedia to accept it. I tried for a year, and failed to get the lab to release any of the standard pictures that get shown at conferences and talks all the time. Wikipedia is very picky. While you are at it, you could add a section on CLAS12, for which there is no information presented at all. Qwerty123uiop (talk) 22:11, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
