My SAR boiler list of 1939 shows 13 class 05's with new boilers received in SAR days post-1910, as follows;
4764 of 1917
4766 of 1916
4804 of 1913
4812 of 1914
4813 of 1915
4815 of 1915
4819 of 1916
4825 of 1922 - this boiler was on loco 0138 when withdrawn in 1950s
4826 of 1923
5302 of 1923
7243 of 1924
7244 of 1924 - this boiler was on loco 0506 when withdrawn in 1950s
7292 of 1925
Incidentally the list also shows an O1 got a new boiler - don't know which loco but it got boiler 7264 of 1924.
