From the article:

"By affixing the CE marking, the manufacturer, its authorized representative, or person placing the product on the market or putting it into service asserts that the item meets all the essential requirements of all applicable been applied."

Not one of these sources can be considered reliable, and they all seem to ultimately refer to a claim by Zuzana Roithová,

a Czech member of the European Parliament. The answer of the EU Commission to her question

states that "The Commission is not aware of the existence of a ‘China export mark’". If there were actual cases of this

claim one would think that the Commission would be the first to hear and legal suits against importers would have been made.

Given that Ms. Roithová has an interest in making this story seem real, and appear as fighting against chinese imports

(a popular theme among European conservatives), I am removing this claim as it appears to be a hoax, and this

I agree that removing the presentation context of this article is correct, but removing it in its entirety is not necessary. It should be noted that counterfeit CE marks do occur (if in fact, this is sourceable), that a Czech politician made statements on the China Export and that the European parliament has commented on this as well. I've lost count of the number of components I've gotten from China with the narrowed "China Export" marking. When I press vendors for their CE certificate of compliance, I get the response that it is China Export and that none is required for that. For some reason powerbricks/powersupplies : Mains to DC seem to be the worst offenders. 75.144.28.77 (talk) 18:57, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Something wrong...

"STEP 7 : Affix "CE Mark" on the product.Everybody need to check this mark on electrical appliances." This is improper punctuation, let alone grammar for an encyclopedia article. Change "CE Mark" to "CE marking"
