I'm guessing it has been "unofficially adopted" as the nonproprietary name (INN) stem for CETP inhibitors, like -coxib for COX 1/2 inhibitors. I can't find it in the online version of the "stem book" [[1]], so I'm guessing that it's either not been formalized by whatever body updates the INN system.. Who makes changes in INN stem naming conventions "official" anyway?
