how is it on pre-pre B-cells and not on pro B-cells. Arent' those the same thing?

Erroneous theoretical structure of CD20

CD20 is a member of the Membrane-spanning 4A family of genes (MS4A). It consists of four transmembrane helical segments (UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot entry P11836). As thus, the image in the wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS4A1, corresponding to a theoretical model (PDB entry 1S8B) and composed essentially of 8 transmembrane parallel "curly" strands is completely wrong and misleading! Compare to the high-resolution crystallographic structure of the GA101 anti-CD20 antibody complexed to the CD20 antigen. contradicting

the beggining stated 'expressed on the surface of all B-cells beginning at the pro-B phase' and then under Expressions it says ' expressed on all stages of B cell development except the first and last; it is present from late pro-B cells through memory cells, but not on either early pro-B cells'

Structural rendering of CD20 is still wrong

This was noted previously, as far back as 2012. It is a dimeric membrane protein with each subunit containing 4 transmembrane helices. There is no experimentally determined structure of C20 on its own, but multiple structures done by cryo-electron microscopy of the full length CD20 in complex with Rituximab Fab.
