Peer Review by Lizz Creason
[edit]Major points: The article is well developed and well organized! While this topic is more advanced and technical, the language of the article is easy to understand and encyclopedia appropriate. However, the heading "Principle" seems odd to me. Perhaps that information belongs in the leading paragraph as well and the first subheading would then be "microarray platform". Good use of peer reviewed sources and citations. Good use of a picture and caption.
Minor points: The leading paragraph utilizes links to other Wikipages, but then they are not used in the subsequent sections. Consider adding more links for technical terms. Also, the "Uses" section could be higher up on the page to help understanding. Creason.e (talk) 02:37, 20 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments. I've added more links to other Wiki pages, and I moved the Uses section below Principle. I included the Principle section because I modeled my article structure off of the immunoassay article which begins with a Principle section. Amadell (talk) 03:42, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
Peer Review
[edit]Major Points:
- During the whole class review, we already discussed the technical language in this article, but it bears repeating.
- The Microarray platform section is pretty dense, consider using bullet points and/or move the picture at the top of your page down into this section, as it is a good illustration of what is happening in the paragraph.
Minor Points:
- Consider renaming your "Uses" section to "applications", which seems more in line what I've seen in other articles on Wikipedia.
- I would also consider renaming the "Enhancements" section because at first glance it isn't clear what you mean by that, but I couldn't think of a good alternative.
