Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Manukashyapcm (talk) 16:26, 9 November 2019 (UTC) The page now speaks the importance of the person for whom it was created. It mentions why it is necessary to have a Wikipedia page.[reply]

Issues with citations.

[edit]

The "Mathematical Olympiads" and the introduction section seems to have some issues with references, as all the informations are not cited properly. J-regar (talk) 09:23, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Terrible citations!!!

[edit]

All citations before Sriranga Digital Software Technologies aren't even citations at all. HAt 06:11, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notability concerns

[edit]

I have rescued some sources and managed to find a few new ones to add to the article, including a link to Yogananda's thesis. However, I don't see how he meets WP:NACADEMIC or WP:NBIO. The material is all routine stuff and some of the details supposedly on the website sriranga.digital can't be found there: I can't see any reference to him and even if there were it would only be an WP:ABOUTSELF, as not independent, so would not help notability. Similarly, his involvement with the Mathematical Olympiad is no-doubt genuine but their website has no details about him. The one proper article I found, for the 1996 event, was authored by him. I'm tempted to send this to WP:AfD but there may be more to tease out in a proper WP:BEFORE search. Any comments User:David notMD or User:22FatCats? Meh. His founding of digital printing company (only ref being to that company'w website) does not contribute to notability. David notMD (talk) 17:57, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And I couldn't even find him mentioned there currently, although I haven't waded through possible archives, since as you say that wouldn't help notability. Mike Turnbull (talk) 11:47, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
