C. R. Stecyk III → C.R. Stecyk III – more common without the space in between Xiamatt (talk) 17:16, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 20:09, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- The provided rationale does not address the criteria of MOS:SPACEINITS. — BarrelProof (talk) 18:27, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose - Not sure about this move request or if it is necessary. For decades (since the 1970s) I've heard him refered to as Craig Stecyk. The majority of sourcing also refers to him as Craig Stecyk, and pretty much everything I see online says Craig R. Stecyk. So it remains unclear why a space between C. and R. would be a big enough deal to warrant a change. And as noted above MOS:SPACEINITS Netherzone (talk) 21:13, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. Purely a stylistic issue and our house style is to use spaces. Agree with above that Craig Stecyk would actually be the best title. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:02, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
