Not an Anarchist
[edit]The first version of this page had Ruthenberg listed up as an "anarchist." There is absolutely no evidence of any such thing in the literature and this content has been removed. The confusion may be related to the fact that he was prosecuted in New York under that states "Criminal Anarchism" law, which dated back to the assassination of President McKinley. The first version also had Ruthenberg's year of birth wrong and other erroneous data.

COI note
[edit]Even though it's a non-commercial, freely available file up on the internet, which has been vetted through several H-Net lists, I will note that I'm the publisher of one minor source in the footnotes. It's possible the same information is available in the Johnson biography, but I'm not seeing it at a glance. —Tim Davenport. //// Carrite (talk) 18:33, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
