The masses are the poor, no?
[edit]This sentence makes no sense and should be revised, provided with a citation, or removed: "The cümbüş was inexpensive and was bought by people who couldn't afford a more expensive instrument; as a result, his dream of the masses accepting it was marginalized." Who are the masses if not the poor? Perhaps the writer meant to say "all social strata", "classical, ethnic, and folk musicians", "everyone" or words that effect. 70.105.233.44 (talk) 12:16, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
Sound file
[edit]I removed this sound file because it is obviously played by a bow and it seems that playing the cümbüş without a bow is much more common. I think we need a file of the sound of the cümbüş played with no bow. --saebou (talk) 22:41, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
