This is the first page I have ever created on Wikipedia. I work for a Buy Here Pay Here car lot and most of what I have written comes from research I have done and first-hand experience. Any help I could get to whip this article into shape would be great.
Brycen (talk) 05:28, 23 September 2014 (UTC) I did a heavy handed edit. Do keep in mind that everything needs to be sourced to be on Wikipedia, and also that pages need to introduce topics for a general reader.
Sources
[edit]I saw a blog entry in Consumerist about these businesses, which referenced an LA Times article. Google News pulls up these results:
- Late on car payment? Meet instant 'repo man' (from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
- 'Buy Here, Pay Here' Businesses Move Into Leasing (from NPR)
- [1] [2] Two articles from Michigan Radio (University of Michigan)
- [3] [4] LA Times coverage
Please feel free to incorporate these sources into the article. RJaguar3 | u | t 07:18, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Definition, prevalence.
[edit]BHPH is defined (in a convoluted way) here in the California Vehicle Code. What fraction of dealers are BHPH dealers? I wish the article answered that question. --Elvey(t•c) 17:42, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
