Edit Suggestions

Overall, this article seems up-to-date. That said, I think the following edits might be useful:

1) The lead section needs citations. It can also be rewritten to include links to the Tompkins County article and the Finger Lakes article for better context.

2) The History section also needs citations. In particular, the "various state acquisitions" claim could be elaborated on.
