Description?
[edit]This article doesn't tell me what a butterfly is. If it is a methodology, what is the method? If it is a rig of things, or a thing, or a fabric, this needs to be explained. Bards 02:41, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Butterfly lighting
[edit]In still photography, "butterfly" lighting (also known as "paramount" or "glamour" lighting) is simply a set up where the key light is above and in front of the subject, generally well lighting the face, but casting a distinctive shadow below the nose. Beauty v butterfly
