[edit]Several websites purport to be associated officially with Butser Ancient Farm. These two resolve to the same IP address.
This one is registered differently but seems to show the same content.
This one claims to be "the website of butser ancient farm".
This one says "Site Directed by Butser Archaeological Centre Ltd".

I worked at Butser for most of 2003- 2006... there's nothing very complicated going on with the Websites here:
1 and 2 are the same site, the one administered by the current operators of the site. I don't know why 3 is registered differently, but I'm pretty surer its just a mirror site of 1 and 2.
4. Is the website of the Friends of Butser, the charity of supporters of the organisation, which, like many organizations (e.g., University Alumni associations), works closely with the organisation it supports but is legally a separate organisation.
5. Is simply a link to 1 and 2 on Gallica.co.uk, which belongs to Dave Freeman, a freelance Archeological and Historical interpreter (see http://www.gallica.co.uk/celts/me.htm). Dave frequently works with and at Butser.
