Stability is back, time to review! --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:29, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
Infobox and lead
[edit]- Infobox looks good
- "singer Billie Eilish." → "singer Billie Eilish from her debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019)." since you should mention what album it's from before the fact that it is a single
- "as the third single from Eilish's..." → "as the third single from the album"
- "American alternative radio stations" → "US alternative radio stations" as American is too vague; North and South are respective contents...
- "2019 through Darkroom" → "2019, with both releases occurring through Darkroom"
- "During the dark and violent lyrics" → "Within the dark and violent lyrics"
- "Australia and the United Kingdom" → "Australia, and the United Kingdom"
- "the song's release" → "the song's initial release" to specify it was in Jan
- "initial" implies that there were multiple versions of the song; it wasn't the case. I don*t think this helps too much...
- Alright
- "initial" implies that there were multiple versions of the song; it wasn't the case. I don*t think this helps too much...
- "—who provides uncredited vocals on the song—" → ", who provides uncredited vocals on the song," so that we know Eilish is the one being pulled
- "at venues including" → "at venues in 2019, including"
- Remove 2019 from before the tour in this context
Background and development
[edit]- "American alternative radio stations" → "US alternative radio stations" as per lead
- "to make his acquaintance" → "to make him her acquaintance"
Composition and lyrical interpretation
[edit]- "credits the song" → "credited the song"
- "as a synth-pop,[11] and electronica track in press reviews.[12]" → "as a synth-pop and electronica track in press reviews.[11][12]" comma is not needed and ref 11 can then go at the end of the sentence
- Target goth to Gothic rock
- ""Bury a Friend" is moderately" → "The song is moderately"
- Target beats per minute to Tempo
- Ref 15 should be at the end of the sentence and the one after 8

- "screams, as well as a screeching" → "screams, and a screeching"
- Target orthodontist to Orthodontics
- Italicize Vox
- Target chorus to Refrain
- "the Doors’" → "the Doors' single"
- "herself [...])."[23]" → "herself [...])".[23]"
- Ref 28 should be at the end of the sentence and the one after 14

- "as well as a highlight on" → "as well as a highlight of"
- "its production to that" → "its production to that"
- "Kanye West's" → "West's" as we have already mentioned him and remove the wikilink to the rapper

- "specific and creepy."[30]" → "specific and creepy".[30]"

- "as a priority. [...] The" → "as a priority", and elaborated, stating: "The"
- "before moving to number 14" → "before moving 60 places to number 14"
- Instead at the time wikilink, maybe use a note for writing that "Bad Guy" surpassed it?
- Target Billboard to Billboard (magazine) on the second mention in this para
- "topping the Alternative Songs chart" → "topping the US Alternative Songs chart"
- "only the 10th solo woman" → "only the tenth solo woman"

- "disappears under Mehki's bed.[10] Scenes also see" → "disappears under Mehki's bed,[10] with scenes also seeing" as the sentences can be merged

[edit]- Isn't RIAA supposed to be sales+streaming and BPI shipments?
- I use the templates, I think they display correct information, though.
Release history
[edit]- Think we could get this table in to improve the article as the required information exists?
- We don't know the medium it was released on on January 30. And in addition to that we only know the release date for the US alternative radio. I personally don't think we need an extra table for the minimum of info we have.

[edit]- More lists should be added; take List of number-one singles and albums in Sweden for example
- Could you give some more examples? Cause it only reached number one in Sweden and Latvia, and I don't see any other lists... (?)
- I meant also top ten lists; I'll add these for you to make it easier
References
[edit]- Archive all of these with fix dead links
- Ref 1 should be fixed to still cite Tidal as the publisher but not mention the service in the title itself
- Rolling Stone shouldn't be cited as a publisher on ref 12 as it is needs to be in italics
- I'm confused... it is cited as "work", but still isn't displayed in italics (?)
- You had accidentally opened italics in the text, fixed this for you.
- I'm confused... it is cited as "work", but still isn't displayed in italics (?)
- Use Hotpress.com as the publisher on ref 15 without the alternate wikilink as this doesn't need to be done per policy
- Refs 17, 33 and 34 should all have the last name presented before the first
- Vox shouldn't be cited as a publisher on ref 21 as it is needs to be in italics
- Ref 25 is bad on copyvio per MOS:QUOTE
- It can be used since it's a quote of Eilish's. Also reworded so that it's clear.
- As long as it's under the copyvio it's fine, even if it's a quote
- It can be used since it's a quote of Eilish's. Also reworded so that it's clear.
- Wikilink Vulture to New York (magazine) on ref 33
- Wikilink ABC to ABC Online on ref 34
- Refs 53 and 57 are unreliable per WP:NOTRSMUSIC
- Ref 76 should solely cite Recording Industry Association of Malaysia as a publisher
- Ref 77 should wikilink to Billboard (magazine) for consistency in the article
- Possible wikilink for ref 83?
