[edit]There are MANY more good refs for Burton. I thought this article used to be much better developed. Have we been attacked by a deletionist? I'll be back. rags (talk) 05:27, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- I may have been mistaken about that — the edit history does not reflect any wholesale deletions. Should be plenty of info from 'Memphis Flyer,' 'Memphis Magazine,' Theosophy Wiki, and I'll try to find a printed copy of CBU pdf. Burton is notable, and there is plenty in secondary and tertiery sources. Findagrave. I worked on that one, and if it still exists, there were good outlinks from Memphis Tech HS webpage to 2ndary sources. Also his stepfather Michael Abt, nationally known for parade floats (which Burton also worked on for many years), and Burton's son, Baird Callicott, a major voice in the relatively new field of environmental ethics (what could be more crucial and timely?). There is no dearth of published info on this family. rags (talk) 05:49, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
