Wind shift
[edit]By the morning of Sept 14th, the fire had expanded to 200 hectares, but the wind had shifted, offering some relief to Asthmatics and Allergy sufferers on Vancouver Island at least.
I wrote the bit about the wind shift as there is no smoke in Nanaimo today. If anyone has observations from the Lower mainland or the Fraser valley, please chime in. 70.67.98.64
Conservancy Area?
[edit]Why was this article named Conservancy Area, rather than just Burns Bog? Isn't the conservancy area only a small part of the Bog? TastyCakes 00:42, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- True. My mistake. --Dogbreathcanada 01:01, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
Western Peat tramway
[edit]There is no mention of the Western Peat tramway in the article. Why? Peter Horn User talk 04:34, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
