Stronger than methcathinone?
[edit]This is the claim at the end of this very short wiki -- "It has similar effects to methcathinone but is several times more potent by weight." There is no citation, and so called "designer drugs" often have vendors editing the wiki of that particular chemical in order to encourage people to order it from them.
Without a valid citation this claim regarding buphedrone v methcathinone should be removed in the interest of harm reduction, wikipedia's standards for posting info, as well as to prevent scams.Brooks bonkoksi (talk) 00:46, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
^Agreed. I am going to go ahead and change it. -NS
This is not stronger! (subjectively)
methcathinone is subjectively stronger than buphedrone just like methamphetamine is stronger than amphetamine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DragiOdBabyJagi (talk • contribs) 12:58, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
^That is not a valid comparison. The first two are related by alteration of the alpha-position functional group, the second two by alteration of the N- position functional group. These changes are not analogous. -NS
