I deleted all of the following stuff as it was entirely original research and written with obvious point of view. None of it belongs on the Talk page either but I figured I'd leave it here for a while in case there's something that can be salvaged.


Sub Tribes of Yousafzee=

Salarzai == Kinger Gali=== Village Kinger Gali is one of the 10 villages of Salarzai tribe, situated at an important location conterminous to the village of Sangao of Mardan District and Bazdara of Malakand Agency. The prominent sub-tribes are Karra Khel, further divided in Jugi Khel, Aziz Khel, Alladad Khel, Mahmood Khel and Lamghani (Laghmani), and Dallo Khel. True to their Pathan characteristics, they value hospitality, bravery and honour. Observing Islamic religious values, upholding tribal traditions and customs is their trait of life but they are equally mild-natured, enterprising, open-minded, outward looking, accommodative and peace-loving. Their economic conditions are heavily dependent on foreign remittances of family earning hands settled in large numbers in Karachi, Middle East and other countries. Historically, agriculture is the primary occupation of the people but having no proper irrigation system they are at the mercy of seasonal rains, and so it is a kind of disguised employment. Nawab Amir Muhammad Khan of Tonk state in India was a native of Alladad Khel tribe of this village, whom they remember proudly.

Bampokha=== Bampokha is very famous for its various kinds of precious marbles. Marble Industry can generate lot of revenue provided the Government takes certain steps as listed below:

  1. Provision of latest machinery so that to standardize the extraction process of marble (raw material). Then our Industrialists would be able to export the marble products to the international market.
  2. To import the refining and polishing machinery currently monopolized by a few industrialized nations and setting them up in country so that the materials can be polished on site.
  3. Marble city should be established with stable electricity so resolve the current power failure problems.
  4. Approach the Italian government and World Trade Organization to stop the mislabelling of Pakistani origin marble as being labelled from other countries like Italy.
  5. The establishment of polytechnical centres to help local people in better managing the affairs of the local Marble industry and training them to operate the more advanced machinery needed to refine the marble.

Nanser=== The inhabitants of the village of Nanner are tribe Mastkhel, Taif khel and Khan Gali.Mastkhel are famous for their furious nature. They were great warriors in the time of tribal age called the Pukhto age. Nanser is famous for games like cricket and specially mookha. They are very famous for their hospitality nature being pukhtoons. Nanser is famous for its tourist spot Bakhai where many springs do spring throughout the year. The greenery and forests of Bakhai give it further beauty.

Mastkhel are further divided into tribes of Ranra Khel, Zenoor Khel and Manawar Khel. The population of Nanser is about 2500 with 260 houses. The hujra system is still alive in the village.

Nanser is rich in its marble resources. It is specially famous for its black marble.

Katkala كاتكله=== Katkala is the last village of the sub tribe Salarzee. It is bordered with AshayZee subtribe and has close relations with AshayZee sub tribe and GadayZee subtribe. It is the greenest part of the Salarzee subtribe, and has a population of about 4000 persons with One High School known as Government High School Katkal established in 1928, one girls middle school, One primary school and one private English medium school.

Unlike other villages of Salarzee. the people of Katkala don't play Mokha which is a local popular game. They are very good in cricket, and in hunting.

Jowar=== Jowar Chawak is one of the 10 villages of Salarzai tribe, situated at an important location village Swat and peer Baba. Divided in Ali Khan Khail, Dohail, Qambo Khail and Alishar Khail. True to their Pathan characteristics, they value hospitality, bravery and honour. Observing Islamic religious values, upholding tribal traditions and customs is their trait of life but they are equally mild-natured, enterprising, open-minded, outward looking, accommodative and peace-loving. Their economic conditions are heavily dependent on foreign remittances of family earning hands settled in large numbers in Karachi, Middle East and other countries. Historically, agriculture is primary occupation of the people but having no proper irrigation system and at the mercy of seasonal rains, it is a kind of disguised employment.

Bazargay === Bazargay lies in the center of Salarzai tribe. It is surrounded by beautiful natural views. The main Mingora-Sawari National Highway goes in the center of Bazargay. It is the only village in Salarzai tribe which is situated in a vast open area, other all villages of Salarzai are situated in mountains or very near to mountains. The people of Bazargay are very hospitable, religious, hardworking, brave and Peace-loving. Observing Islamic religious values, upholding tribal traditions and customs is their trait of life but they are equally mild-natured, enterprising, open-minded, outward looking, accommodative and peace-loving. They are divided in 2 main prominent sub-tribes 1)Pitaw Khail (sub-tribes are Mazeed Khail, Akbar Khail and Tawus Khail) 2) Soori Khail. The Mukha-team of Bazargay is well-known and the only one which has many records in this field and also has above 12 Mukah-Cups. ("Mukha" the traditional Sport of Pukhtoon Nation). Their economic conditions are heavily dependent on foreign remittances of family earning hands settled in large numbers in Karachi, Middle East and other countries. Historically, agriculture is primary occupation. The hujra system is still alive in the village. Bazargay is rich in its marble resources.

Laygani === Leagani is a village in Buner valley, situated at the bottom of the Elam mountain. Karakar is a part of this village. This village is the boundary wall between Swat and Buner, serving as the gateway to Buner valley.

Koohay === It is the side and small village of buner near 4 km to south bampokha. It is historical hundreds of years old. The village occupied by hills on three sides; only one side is open to bamokha side. After this village come choor banda and sar banda and darraha 7 km long.

Girarai === girarai is the side village of salarzi it is away 4km from jowar chowak this village very beautiful than other salarzi village. The village occupied by hills on three sides; only one side is open to JOWAR side.The people of GIRARAI are very hospitable, religious, hardworking, brave and Peace-loving. Observing Islamic religious values, upholding tribal traditions and customs is their trait of life but they are equally mild-natured, enterprising, open-minded, outward looking, accommodative and peace-loving. They are divided in 4 main prominent sub-tribes 1)PITAW KHAIL (2)SORI KHAIL(3)DERI KHAIL(4)KHOWAR. Gady Zee == Pir Baba === In the heart of Pir Baba valley on the east of elum mountains in Pacha Kalay town lies the beautiful mausoleum of Hazarat Pir Baba R.A. along with his second son Hazarat Syed Mustafa Shah Tirmizi R.A. [Who was un-married] His elder son was Hazarat Syed Habibullah Shah Tirmizi R.A. whose mausoleum is in Kunar Afghanistan] Pir Baba's mausoleum is where people from every corner come to pay their homage to the respected saint and ask for blessings round the year. It has a green tomb as found in the mausoleums of many Muslim saints. The stream started by Hazarat Pir Baba R.A. is flowing with water until date and people are using it. Hazarat Pir Baba first went to [India] from [Termez -Afghanistan] for preaching of Islam along with his Respected Father Syed Qanbar Ali Shah who was in the Army of Babar, then he moved from Delhi to Punjab to Ajmer and then to Buner [Kohistan] on advise of his Pir-o-Murshed Hazarat Salaar Roomi R.A. and later after death of Hazarat Salaar Roomi R.A. at Ajmer by his son Sheik Hussain R.A. to preach Islam and wipe out the anti-Islam teaching propagated by the Roshaniya sect their. Hazarat Pir Baba R.A. guided his favourite disciple and Khalifa "Hazarat Abdul Rasheed alias Akhund Darweza R.A. who is buried in grave at Hazarkhwani Graveyard, Peshawar", Deewana Baba R.A. [Hazarat Maulana Saleh Akauzi] who is buried at Deweena Baba a village named after him in Gagra area and others and they took the special task of uprooting of the heretical anti-Islamic Roshaniya sect which flourished in Kohistan and the sourounding areas. Hazarat Pir Baba R.A. was married to "Respected Bibi" sister of Daulat Khan a respected person of Buner. Syed Mohammed Ibrahim Shah alias Hisar Baba was also one of the Khalifa of Hazarat Pir Baba R.A., Hazarat Pir Baba's descendants wielded great influence among the Pathan tribesmen, and three centuries later Hazarat Syed Akbar Shah R.A. [Born in 1793] provided a rallying point against the Sikhs and the British during the Anglo-Afghan Wars. 11th of May 1857 [Christian Calendar Year] this was the day on which Mujahed-e-Islam Hazarat Syed Akbar Shah R.A. left this world to meet the Creator in the heavens. Incidentally, news of the War of Independence reached Peshawar on this day. The British Commissioner of Peshawar at that time commented upon the death of Hazarat Syed Akbar Shah R.A. that, "If he were alive by this time, than the political scenario of the Frontier would have been much different." Hazarat Pir Baba R.A. elder son's Hazarat Syed Habibullah Shah Tirmizi R.A. mausoleum is in Kunar Afghanistan. The three sons of Hazarat Syed Habibullah Shah Tirmizi R.A. were 1. Hazarat Syed Mian Abdullah Shah Tirmizi [R.A.] buried at Shal-Bandey-Buner. 2. Hazarat Syed Mian Qassim Shah Tirmizi [R.A.] buried at Pir Kaley Matta-Swat and 3. Hazarat Syed Mian Hassan Shah Tirmizi [R.A.] buried at Kukrhey-Swat. Sadaats the descendants of Pir Baba are said to have moved to Buner, Swat, Dir, Bajaur, Chitral, Mardan, Swabi Karachi, Lahore, Mansehra, Peshawar, Islamabad with in Pakistan, and are also settled in Afghanistan, Europe, USA, MiddleEast, Thailand, Myanmar, , India and other countries, in India the President of "Pakhtoon Jirga-e-Hind" Syed Sakhavat Shah is a direct descendant of Pir Baba R.A. and is a naturalised Indian citizen working for upliftment of pakhtoons.

Chaghar Zee == Chagarzi is another small valley in the north east of Buner. It is a channel way through District Shangla to Karakuram Highway. There is moderate season, winter is cold due to heavy snow fall. This area is facing problems of road system, otherwise it has too much great seasons. Some villages are Budal, Batra, Tangora,

Gulbandi, Topi, Inzarmira, Shamnal etc. Chagharzi lies in Duma range. The most common place in this valley is Shahidi sar where is a market and a big chowk name bahadar khan chowk. Near village name are chamo teraj bazarkoot awanay kotwal etc. The main road from shahedi sar runs alongside the village of Chamo. Chamo is small but graceful. The land maps of Chamo is all over are green tall and big trees of different kinds and a lake who are coming from teraj who crossing chamo.

Gokand=== Gukand is known for its mountains and springs of water.

Gukand is a famous valley amongst the green hills and mountains. This valley has several villages named dagger, hisar, topdara, bagra, manyari, kos gokand and bar gokand. The boundaries of this valley touches the Swat and Shangla districts. peer baba son syed mustafa ali shah termazi was married and peer baba decendents are from mustafa baba

Ashay Zee == Toorworsak === Torwarsak is the bigest vallige of distt; buner the people of this vallige are very good and brave. Torwarsak is known for marble industry. Torwarsak are divide in two sects,which known are yahya khail,and the other one is hadin khail.

Dewana baba===== Dewana baba is located 11 kilometers far on east side of swarri. Dewana baba is the one and only one place in buner in which there is not any khan. All the peoples are living here are educated, hospitable and loyal. Most of marles industries are located in buner are in dewana baba. Govt high schools of boys and girls, Privite schools, Govt Hospital [BHU] and privite medicals centers are serving and giving health and educational facilities.
