Is it really unnotable that a neofascist should involve themselves with BUND?
[edit]I was a bit shocked to see that some one had removed the reference to Mr Savin, the Ukrainian neo-fascist. Is it really regarded as quite normal for leading figures of the New Right to hobnob at Bund events?Harrypotter 18:48, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- If it is true, then he was just a participant at a further not mention(able?) event. I assume Bund Jugend dont hold selections on who can come and who cant. To point out this single assumed visit to me seems non noticeable. I feel that if you do think this is relevant for the article, you should make it more evident in the article itself. Now you just allege things. I for one have never heard of Mr. Savin. -- Eiland 08:16, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- Text deleted = "Leonid Savin, the chairperson of Duginist organisation Eurasia attended the Second Eco'n'Action conference organised by them."
- Ah, would that Savin had abandonned his career . . . but his antics up Mt Hoverla have changed that. He was not simply a "participant", he was headlined as a speaker on the now-defunct Eco'n'action site. Savin maybe an expert at political infiltration, but would be more helpful if Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland recognised their mistake.Harrypotter (talk) 22:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I believe you are being unreasonable, and Ill add the NPOV to the BUND page, because I dont feel like having to go through this over and over again -- Eiland (talk) 13:05, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
I was somewhat puzzled by the recent removal of both the dispute tag and the Savin reference. If you are disputing the Savin reference, then why remove the dispute tag? If you remove the dispute tag, why remove the Savin reference? Hoepful my last revert will help us move forward on this.Harrypotter (talk) 11:14, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
this savin fellow (which nobody in germany seems to ever have heard of and who doesnt even have a wikipedia entry, not here, not in germany) attending one of literally thousands of events each year of the biggest environmental org in germany seems quite irrelevant to me. deleted. therefor the dispute tag can go as well. 77.24.84.219 (talk) 09:47, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Whatever one may think of Savin, the Eco'n'Action event was organised by the youth organisation BUNDjugend, not by BUND. BUNDjugend runs their business independently from BUND. Therefore, the Savin reference should be moved to the BUNDjugend page. Which I will do. --Typograppa (talk) 13:22, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
