[edit]Per the What Wikipedia is not policy, I have deleted the lengthy list of performers for the 2006 festival. The WWIN policy states that articles "generally shouldn't list upcoming events, current promotions, phone numbers, schedules etc." as this information will become out of date too quickly. I have left a brief summary of some artists appearing in 2006. Bookgrrl 00:08, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Bumbershoot is slang for an umberella, should there be a disambiguation page here? chrisboote 14:28, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
Insurance Policy? What?
[edit]I don't know if this is random vandalism/parody, but what is the Insurance Policy about? Is there also an insurance policy called "bumbershoot"? If there is, it should be better clarified. Eptin 02:51, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- add fact check template, then remove it if unsourced in a few days. SchmuckyTheCat 16:03, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
hey, what is that songthat plays on the bumbershoot homepage????
- "Insurance policy" sounds like nonsense here, but Travelers Insurance, who have an umbrella as their logo, were a major sponsor from the early 1970s at least into the late 1980s. - Jmabel | Talk 07:02, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
