Total
[edit]There is something wrong with the total, the numbers it gives are: TOTAL 7,844,153 - 9,785,262 ( Bulgaria: 6,655,210[10]. But surely, considering the article, the total should reflect the number of diaspora Bulgarians, not the total number of Bulgarians. Also, over 50,000 Makedonce have declared themselves Bulgarians and are asking for passports. Are they diaspora? Or can we even consider the Bulgarians in FY/ROM as diaspora? Perhaps these nuances can be taken into account when the article expands. Politis (talk) 21:22, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I guess those in Albania, RoM, Romania and shouldn't be considered diaspora. Feel free to remove them. I haven't put this article in my list for future enlargements (so to speak) but we'll see. --Laveol T 21:25, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Bulgarians in RM
[edit]The most famous Bulgarian in the country is the former Prime Minister of the country, Ljupco Georgievski. Politis (talk) 15:48, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- 1990 - President of the VMRO-DPMNE party
- 1991 Vice President of the Republic of Macedonia
- 1992-1995 Representative in the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia
- 1995-1998 Consulting in BS Consulting-Skopje
- 1998-2002 Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia
- You have no idea how much they hate him there. Btw it might be useful adding him to Bulgarians in the Republic of Macedonia--Laveol T 17:07, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Wake up
[edit]Can someone get on and make an article of this? We need links to Bulgarian associations, Church organisations abroad, main centres of residence, history of the Bulgarian diaspora... Politis (talk) 12:41, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
