- "rescued from a cancer research clinic" "rushed to the hospital in time to be saved" On a quick skim, this article appears to be very POV.
- I don't see how 'rescued' is POV, if it's fact. I changed 'rushed' to 'taken'. Pyrrhus16 09:44, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- It is fact, the problem is it antagonizes cancer research animal testing. I changed it to "adopted", but only in the first paragraph. a little insignificant 15:32, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- There are too many in-line quotes, which combined make it very hard to read the article. Most could be removed, some could be changed, i.e. "Bubbles would go by himself," the singer later said. is unnecessary.
- Removed that quote, but I personally don't think their is too big a problem with quotes. Pyrrhus16 09:44, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Much of the introduction is taken directly from the first paragraph without any apparent changes. Needs to be rewritten.
- Reworded. Pyrrhus16 09:44, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Refs 2,3,7,8,9,10,13,16,18,20,21,and 25 need to be changed from bare refs to cite refs. More info can be found here and here.
All in all, this article has multiple issues which can be solved. a little insignificant 17:16, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- "Refs 2,3,7,8,9,10,13,16,18,20,21,and 25 need to be changed from bare refs to cite refs." – what the hell??? Sorry, these are formatted absolutely correctly according to the MOS. – iridescent 16:15, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- While as shortened footnotes they may be formatted correctly, cite webs and cite books are considered a more cultivated style. If you didn't follow the links I included, try this for books: Insert <ref>{{cite book |title= |last= |first= |authorlink= |coauthors= |year= |publisher= |location= |isbn= |page= |pages= |url= |accessdate= }}</ref> and apply the information you have, deleting any parameters that don't apply. For instance: <ref>{{cite book |title=Michael Jackson:The Magic and the Madness |last=Taraborrelli |first=J. Randy |authorlink=http://www.jrandytaraborrelli.com |year=1991 |publisher=Citadel |isbn=1559720646 |page=364 |accessdate=2009-05-16 }}</ref> (taken from ref #7). a little insignificant 16:58, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- There is no problem with the formatting of these references. The same is used on Michael Jackson and Thriller (album) - Featured Articles. Also, according to WP:GA?, Good Articles must comply "with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, jargon, words to avoid, fiction, and list incorporation. Compliance with other aspects of the Manual of Style [in this case reference formatting] is not required for good articles." On another note, could you please paste #:{{GAReview}} ~~~~ below this entry at WP:GAN, to avoid multiple reviews of this article. Pyrrhus16 09:44, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Done. You're completely right. It's not a requirement for GA or even FA status, but it's a more... proper way of referencing and provides more info. Sorry, just me being picky. Good job on the changes so far. a little insignificant 12:24, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Is there anything else needing done to the article? Pyrrhus16 13:58, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think so. The quotes look a lot better and the rewording is great. With the references a moot issue, I think it's good. a little insignificant 15:35, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- So does the article pass the GA criteria? Pyrrhus16 16:04, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- It certainly does! Congratulations! a little insignificant 16:55, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
