Why a separate article?
[edit]Shouldn't this be merged with and/or redirected to bubble wrap, just as Teflon redirects to polytetrafluoroethylene? – ukexpat (talk) 13:44, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think that these topics have individual notability. Whereas Teflon is polytetrafluoroethylene, bubble wrap is a much broader topic than just this brand. I think maybe a more comparable case is Kleenex and facial tissue. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 16:52, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Edit request
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. Some or all of the changes may be promotional in tone. |
Submitting these as requests for another Wikipedia user to edit, as I have a personal conflict of interest.
1. "BUBBLE WRAP" is a registered trademark of Sealed Air Corp., so all references to "Bubble Wrap" should ideally be capitalized [1].
2. Sealed Air Corp. no longer has a Product Care division. As a result of a reorganization begun in 2018, the company has integrated the Product Care and Food Care divisions into one[2]. BUBBLE WRAP® brand protective packaging includes a portfolio of products such as equipment that creates inflatable bubble cushioning, inflatable air pillows, and specialty versions of bubble cushioning[3]. Ideally, for this section would be rewritten to say that the BUBBLE WRAP® brand and product were introduced in 1960, and remove the reference to Product Care.
3. The BUBBLE WRAP® brand logo has also been updated[4].
