Uzrovya Bryansk?

[edit]

Anything to do with the shtetl town of "Uzrov" as in Uzhrovya Bryansk? Is there a place called Chantshin nearby? פשוט pashute ♫ (talk) 00:19, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You'll have to be more specific, I'm afraid. Bryansk Oblast is a pretty big territory. There are no places currently known as "Chanshin" (unless it is spelled differently), although that of course does not mean there's never been one. There are no inhabited localities called "Uzrov" or "Uzhrovya" in Bryansk Oblast either, but there is a settlement called "Uzrovye" in Kletnyansky District. Is that the one you are looking for?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); December 17, 2012; 15:28 (UTC)

Incorrect map

[edit]

The map is depicting incorrect information. Its depicting Crimea as a part of Russia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.35.249.13 (talk) 10:56, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. Reverted to the previous version of the map. If there were a version of that map that showed Russian-claimed but not recognized portions of Ukraine, that would provide the most information, but I don't know of such a version. 208.127.94.174 (talk) 03:26, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Adding a misleading map

[edit]

@Mellk, what do you mean [1] "outdated"? ManyAreasExpert (talk) 21:26, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You added a map from 2011, which does not include later changes of the boundaries e.g. Moscow. Crimea is marked as disputed anyway. Do not use misleading edit summaries like "wrong map". Mellk (talk) 21:30, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
