liveable?

i would beg to differ. b/cs offers little to no entertainment outside of drinking in bars. people who have enough money can boat on lake bryan. outside of these, the town is basically a large retirement community.

Yes, I'd have to agree. The recreational opportunities are very limited, especially if you're not into the bar scene or country western dancing. The area is also extremely conservative politically and socially. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bicyclethings (talkcontribs) 01:36, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

That's personal opinion and has no place in a Wikipedia article. AnmaFinotera (talk) 02:12, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Who exactly do you think you are to decide who's opinion has no place here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.113.231.196 (talk) 03:38, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
It is called Wikipedia policy. No personal opinions or research. Articles should contain verifiable facts from reliable sources that presents a neutral and encyclopedic view of the subject. Not your or mine personal view on the topic. AnmaFinotera (talk) 03:46, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

The article contains references to the area being "liveable" and having a "small-town atmosphere", both of which are matters of opinion as well. Furthermore, the article is written like an advertisement, straight from the Chamber of Commerce. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bicyclethings (talkcontribs) 04:04, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, hence it being tagged for needing clean up. Adding more unsourced opinion does not fix things. AnmaFinotera (talk) 04:12, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Merger proposal

There doesn't appear to be a lot of overlap in content between Bryan-College Station, Texas and Bryan-College Station metropolitan area, but the redirects for each respective page are virtually identical. EagleAg04 (talk) 14:42, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Technically, this article is supposed to just be about Bryan and College Station, however I agree that a merge to the metro article would be good. There really is no need to have this article plus the metro plus the individual city articles. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 18:43, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
This seems to be uncontroversial, so I'm going to go ahead and perform the merge.EagleAg04 (talk) 03:20, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
