Proposed deletion

[edit]

This article was proposed for speedy deletion under the following criteria:

Fails the GNG, no indication subject satisfies any SNG. No reliable sourcing, just unsourced, vague claims of significance. GNews/GBooks searches for names in all listed languages plus the award name produce fewer than a half dozen hits, all trivial/spurious, none verifying any of the claims of significance.

I believe this to be a major award and event for the European adult film industry and hence is significant on this basis. I will point out that Wikipedia has numerous articles about non-adult film festivals, some of them quite small. Note Category:Film_festivals_in_the_United_States.

If the editor who tagged this still feels that this should be deleted, I ask them to take it to AfD rather than Speedy Deletion.

A merger into an article on "Adult film awards" or "Adult industry film awards" would also be an acceptable alternative to deletion. Iamcuriousblue (talk) 16:52, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
