The Riding Crop
[edit]Note: I believe The Riding Crop (sculpture) should enter the public domain in the U.S. in 2021, freeing up the possibility for it having its own article, and Commons image.
Update: Actually, if Zach died in 1945, this should put his work into the public domain in countries with copyright terms of life + 70 years. Also, 2020 is roughly 95 years after its first publication "circa 1925". One way or another, I suspect this is likely to be in the public domain soon.
However, I don't think this makes any modern photographs of the sculpture public domain. Perhaps there are older photos which might be? -- The Anome (talk) 19:14, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
I can provide some foto for the project right now
[edit]A few years ago I got permission off the family that own sculpture Bruno Zach (he was born in Ukraine). I wrote an article on him in 2017. If you have time, you could read: http://www.rol.org.ua/eng/article.cfm?deid=23 All the photographs I took that 2017 with my camera. This is a piece called "Lady in a luxurious chair". And if there are no objections from other editors, we can then use my picture. (Plokhish (talk) 20:35, 14 June 2020 (UTC))
