Brucie's Surname

There seems some discrepancies around Brucie's surname, sometimes Forsyth, others Forsythe. I believe his name is Forsyth. --Slimberly

I only know of one other case, an author named Alex Fynn who has written books on both Arsenal and Tottenham. I've only ever heard previously of Brucie being a Tottenham fan. --Groovycathers

Tags?

Are all the tags at the top of the article necessary? I came to this page genuinely looking for information, and to be faced with a page of tags and have to scroll down to get the article is not a good thing - is this some sort of vandalism? --El Pollo Diablo (Talk) 22:53, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

The tags you assumed were vandalism were added by myself to highlight the poor quality of this article i admit i may have gone with a few too many but removing all of them is excessive as well like removing that the article requires more sections and sources and the contradictions. some of them should be re added accordingly and not a blanket removal of all and the catchphrase section is all quotes which should be avoided so saying they are all quotes or too many is perfectly justified.--Lucy-marie 20:30, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Certainly, this article is too short, and it is definitely not yet of a good or encyclopaedic quality, but one of the main importances of Wikipedia, in my opinion, is that each article is readable. Having lots of tags at the top of the article reduces its readability, and should be avoided - if you are desperate to improve the quality of this article in particular, why not do an article improvement drive? --El Pollo Diablo (Talk) 15:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Lucy, you did a very similar thing to the Noel Edmunds article. You polluted the article with loads of {{fact}} tags without making any attempt to correct the problems yourself. Why not have a go at correcting/researching/rewriting any problems with this that you perceive. I resent the use of he word polluted . I saw it fit add those tags to the article as i usually add many many tags to articles I edit. for example the relitivly short Amanda Dowler article has more refrences than the Noel Edmonds article which is three times as long as it. So I believe strongly in refrences and citations. It was not a form of pollution as most have now been refrenced in the Edomnds article.--Lucy-marie 21:26, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

I also believe strongly in references and citations, but am becoming quite annoyed by you continually adding fact tags to articles when you make no effort yourself to source them. It is as if you are dishing orders around. The fact tags with which you polluted the Edmunds article (and the article looked hideous with them) were only replaced because someone else spent days adding the references. Please refrain from personal attacks. The article had been tagged by someone as requiring sources and refrences. I simply showed where I though the refrences should go and I have added my own refrences to the article as well. Bruce and the Seacombe Connection

Hi can this be reverted. Bruce helped the area of Seacombe immensely over the years and Seacombe helped Bruce. This is an important part of his life and Seacombes and is often missed from the traditional Brucey Biography. He would not have come up with the phrase Good Game Good Game without his experuence there.

When I came to this page it said he died on 10 October 2008. He did not die today.

I have removed this reference but perhaps someone who can use Wikipedia better can check who wrote this.

Julie Forsyth

I'm going to remove the line about his daughter being a one-time member of The Plasmatics.
