[edit]The News International plant is actually in Cheshunt a few miles south. Alansplodge (talk) 21:55, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello Alansplodge. From what I understand you are correct. Cheshunt is one of the towns which form the Borough of Broxbourne (Northmetpit (talk) 07:56, 29 August 2010 (UTC)).
The Guardian contradicts Wikipedia on the capacity of the printing plant, apparently reporting that the whole plant, rather than each press, produces 86,000 newspapers per hour. Compare Business on the the Wikipedia page for Broxbourne with a Guardian article at this address: http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/mar/17/pressandpublishing.rupertmurdoch?INTCMP=ILCNETTXT3487 [[User:Thomas Keyes|Thomas Keyes}} April 11,2011 —Preceding undated comment added 07:54, 11 May 2011 (UTC).
Discrepancies
[edit]As regards Broxbourne#Business. the statement that each press prints 86,000 newspapers per hour is at variance with a Guardian article, which says: Wapping could produce 30,000 newspapers per hour - Broxbourne raises that to 86,000. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/mar/17/pressandpublishing.rupertmurdoch?INTCMP=ILCNETTXT3487 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thomas Keyes (talk • contribs) 02:51, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Be that as it may, in my opinion, both the News International plant in Cheshunt and the 2012 Olympic Lee Valley White Water Centre in Waltham Cross should be moved to the Broxbourne (borough) page, as neither are in the traditional parish and town of Broxbourne which is the subject of this article.
