It's interesting that Major Gen. Smedley Butler was warning of Brown Brothers as early as 1933, and by extrapolation George H W Bush, founder Prescot's nephew I believe, or possibly his son. Can Wik cement this fact? See: http://www.fas.org/man/smedley.htm

Here is an interesting link that discusses the Nazi-Harriman connections. Plus in the larger website is a little info on Harriman and Skull and Bones. Missing a paragraph?

The article seems to be missing a paragraph. Before the list of "initial partners." I believe these are the initial partners of the merged Brown Brothers and Harriman firms, circa 1931? Repeated Vandalism

For the editor "Enemies within", please refrain from posting your complaints about the article's content within the article itself. Please also refrain from the continued vandalism to the article which includes but is not limited to; citing false sources, writing your opinion of the article at the top and bottom of the page, and editing in small non-cited tidbits regarding the "Nazis" to make it appear as if these are sourced. Also if you wish to see the article improved as you say, we would encourage that you edit the article in a constructive way using factual information cited from verifiable sources. Thank you. Vandalism? Not

I guess revealing the truth about a bloody organization would be considered vandalism to a company that helped Himmler and Hitler starve, gas, and massacre millions of people. But don't feel bad, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co are not the only accessories to murder and torture, IBM and Mercedes Benz had their greedy hands in the holocaust too. I am not looking to get into a "reliable source" war with you. I am not looking to gain support, especilly not from people like you Ukexpet, you always reply with an overtone of arrogance. Its obvious my reliable sources would not be enough for you.

I provided the National Archives at the University of Maryland and the Harriman papers in the Library of Congress as my sources. I can't force you to check these facts, they are in black and white. So please stop saying my edits are unsubtantiated when you haven't checked. Have you checked the sources for the arthur of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co?Enemies within (talk) 00:57, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
