Confusion?

[edit]

There's some possibility of confusion with the more notable Osborne Brothers, although the reversing of the name is possibly sufficient to help the articles be found. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:33, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm personally more of a fan of red dirt/Texas than Nashville country, but I'll give this a look. Hog Farm Talk 05:41, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • " their musical success is credited to producer Jay Joyce, who had produced all of their music." - does Joyce no longer produce their music? The tense switch to past-tense with "had" stands out as a little odd to me
  • David Nail is only mentioned in the lead
  • "Its lead single was the song "Shoot Me Straight," which featured a seven-minute guitar solo." - should maybe be clarified that what was released as the radio single was a much shorter edit. Also, I'm not seeing this in the source and the album versions I can find online are 6:24 long, which doesn't leave room for a 7-minute solo
  • Neotraditional country as an influence is only mentioned in the lead
  • " Damshenas, Sam (February 4, 2021). "Country singer T.J. Osborne comes out as gay"." - lacks the publisher. Also, should this source be removed? It appears to have been added by a block-evading IP and the addition of this source has been reverted several times in the past
  • "Among their first successes was the 2014 single "Rum," which received critical acclaim." - critical acclaim for "Rum"

Good work here, mainly just some adjustments related to the lead needed. Placing on hold. Hog Farm Talk 17:13, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
