This seems like a rather constricted description of Brookside, limiting it to the shopping district rather than the neighborhood itself. I always said that lived in Brookside, when we had a home there for 22 years. However, we were south of Meyer Blvd., on 65th Terrace. On another website, it lists the northern boundary as 51st St., which may be a bit too far north, but their description still stops at Meyer.
Common usage in Kansas Ciy would be more like 55th St. on the north to Gregory Blvd. on the south. Thence begins Waldo. Otherwise, what would you call the neighborhood from Meyer to Gregory? Most of it is in Armour Hills, but that's a homes association and is not generally considered a separate neighborhood. Only when it was relevant, would I have said I lived in Armour Hills.Apace361 (talk) 20:07, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
