Update ...
In contact with the National Carousel Association about possible reprints of articles from their back issues. Ealdgyth - Talk 16:38, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds promising! HstryQT (talk) 18:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- Let me know if you need a peer review at any point. Awadewit (talk) 05:42, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- I'll be glad to. Still gathering the last bits of information... the NCA is sending me a back issue of the Merry-Go-Rondup which has stuff about the carousel and that hopefully will be the end of things. The only other thing I can think of is perhaps a visit to the Indy newspapers for back files, but I've got quite a few clippings already so I'm not sure what more would be there that would be useful. Ealdgyth - Talk 15:24, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Great - just email me when you want the peer review. I'm finishing my dissertation this semester, so I'm not checking my watchlist all that often. :) Awadewit (talk) 22:43, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Indianapolis Park District?
I have lived in Indianapolis my since 1978 and I have never heard of the the City of Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recreation being called the "Park District". I know that's what Chicago calls their parks department, but not here. My wife, who has lived here her entire life tells me that she has never heard of that nomenclature. While the department itself doesn't currently have an article, I have create two new redirects List of parks in Indianapolis from the department's official names, Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recreation and Indy Parks --rogerd (talk) 16:11, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
