Why is Jimi Hendrix in this article?
[edit]I don't recall reading that Jimi Hendrix was part of the British Blues scene. I've been looking at the sources used in this article, and none of them mention Hendrix as part of the scene. Indeed, Richard Williams (journalist) says that the scene ended when Hendrix came over, and that seems to be a fair assessment. SilkTork (talk) 18:52, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

At the end of the first paragraph
[edit]I found the following sentence. "It often placed greater emphasis on guitars and was often played with greater energy." What is not clear to me is what is "It", R&B or Blues, and if it is the former, well the guitar thing has to go because the Blues scene was filled withthe greatest guitar players of the day. - Here's the edit where that was added - over 8 years ago (!). Sabrebd doesn't seem to be around much now, but it might be worth asking them. Ghmyrtle (talk) 17:52, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
- They edited a few days ago so I dropped a note. We'll see. This is not a make-or-break issue. Carptrash (talk) 18:05, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
