Poetry in motion

If the poems written in (what's now) the Republic of Ireland, were written between 1801 & 1922, then they aren't British, but Irish. GoodDay (talk) 18:34, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"The term is rarely used"

Have removed "The term is rarely used ... ". Google Books search finds a lot of books with "British Poetry" in the title, including Filigree: Contemporary Black British Poetry (anthology, Nii Ayikwei Parkes), Women, Modernism and British Poetry, 1910–1939: Resisting Femininity, by Jane Dowson, Contemporary British Poetry and the City, Thematic Guide to British Poetry, by Ruth Glancy, The Penguin Book of Contemporary British Poetry, The Oxford Handbook of British Poetry, 1660-1800, British Poetry in the Age of Modernism.
