What's the scope of this article?
[edit]It's not clear why the article concentrates on just four studies. What counts as "principal" and why are only "principal" studies listed? Is it restricted to national cohort studies, or are local ones in the UK to be included as well? The point of this article isn't clear. Maybe what would be better would be moving to a "List of cohort studies in the UK" article, which would have consistency with other Wikipedia articles about lists of similar things. Alternatively, if there's something that links these four studies, and just these four, then there could be an article about them collectively, but what belongs in this article that can't just be put in the respective articles about the four studies? Comments very welcome. MartinPoulter (talk) 15:41, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
