Overall, the article is very good but there are a few small changes that need to be made before I can pass the article.

  • Take out all links to articles that don't exist (in this case there is only one, "Jade Latoya Bailey")
  • For this sentence, "He threw the discus 53.11 meters, ranking last out of 18 athletes. The 17th place finalist in the second qualifying heat, Iraq's Haidar Nasser Shaheed, threw the 1.08 meters further; heat leader Rutger Smith of the Netherlands threw the discus 12.54 meters further than Matthias", wouldn't it sound better like this: "He threw the discus 53.11 meters, ranking last out of 18 athletes. The 17th place finalist in the second qualifying heat, Iraq's Haidar Nasser Shaheed, threw 1.08 meters further with heat leader Rutger Smith of the Netherlands throwing the discus 12.54 meters further than Matthias"?
  • In the table, you should put what "Q" means just like how you did it in this article.
  • In the table, what does that beige colour bar supposed to represent?
    • It serves to show that those rounds were not played. So, if results are given for the first round and for the final round but the semifinals are beige, then no semifinal rounds were held; those who qualified in the first round went straight to finals. --Starstriker7(Talk) 16:28, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • The current location of the table makes it look like it is only talking about the women's competition, wouldn't it make more sense to split that table into two and put Eric Matthias stats in the men's competition and Tahesia Harrigan in the women's? Kind of like this.
  • Also, try to find at least one picture related to the topic (if possible).

The article will be on hold for 7 days to allow this improvements to be made. If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or on my talk page.--Dom497 (talk) 13:06, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have passed the article.--Dom497 (talk) 16:49, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
