Non Existant Class
[edit]This class does not exist- there is no class 505. User:Tom walker, February 19 2006, 18:49 GMT.
Agreed. Even the content of this page is technically incorrect. This page shuld be deleted.
How does one delete a page?
- This page should not be deleted. There was indeed a Class 505 - this is the TOPS code assigned to the original 1500V DC EMU's used on the Manchester - Altrincham line. These were withdrawn in 1971, just before the TOPS numbering was seriously applied to EMU's, so they never carried 505xxx numbers. As they operated in a very localised area and disappeared in 1971, the old MSJ&A rolling stock is not very well known. I have removed the rubbish from the post and will add more details of the units in due course.EnglishElectric 12:02, 19 June 2006
