There is a some contraictory information on this page. The lower of the two photos shows unit 312792, and the caption states that "this unit has been scrapped". Further down on the page, the unit currently owned by the fire service is also said to be 312792. Oviously one of these is wrong, as the same unit can't have been scrapped and also be the last survivor. I don't know for certain, but I think the number of the fire service unit is wrong and should be 312791. Could anyone confirm which is correct so the error can be corrected.
312792 - was part sold to Fire Service ( 2 carriages) and 2 scraped, as most people list EMU via unit number when the see 312792 on the scrapped list they think all 4 carriages....
The 2 carriages not scrapped went onto be preserved. So 312791 was not involved in this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.145.32.72 (talk) 15:08, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
