[edit]Folks,
I am the President of the Illinois Humane Society. The text and images entered in the "Illinois Humane Society" article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illinois_humane_society) are taken from our book, "The Illinois Humane Society 1869-1979" printed in 1981. They are also used on our website, www.illinoishumanesociety.org . I have emailed an authorization to permissions-en@wikimedia.org
1. Is there anything else I need to do?
2. The title only has caps on the first word. How do I capitalize the H and S? ( "Illinois Humane Society? ) [Now fixed - the trick was move.]
Thanks so much for your care and help,
Paulbodine 02:23, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Paul A. Bodine, President Illinois Humane Society paul.bodine@illinoishumanesociety.org
- I always think it is the height of idleness for people to copy their website here and think they have created an article. So I have tried very hard to dislike this - but I cannot! But you must:
- Re-upload the images - see template:idw-noncom for why the first uploads were deleted. You have already released your text under the GFDL so why not release the images similarly.
- Wikify! There are masses of links incoming and outgoing that need created - Illinois, Chicago, Civil War, etc. etc. Categorise.

I wikified the page, but the article is not too useful without the pictures. Also, there is not very much history about the agency itself, only its buildings. - Cbradshaw 05:46, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
new name
[edit]The organization has a new name, the page needs to be moved to reflect that. I just did that. Also did some other cleanup while at it.
I don't know when the final name change happened (discovered yet another not mentioned earlier), but the current article says 2009. I'm going to go with that.
Some of the historical info that is associated with photos that have been removed, I'm going to integrate into a history section.
