Is this biography?

Maybe I'm missing something here, but this article is about the fictional character. Aren't the biography tags mistaken? Mattnad 18:14, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes they are; it's because the article was incorrectly placed in the Living people category. That's been fixed now, and I'll remove the tag. --kingboyk 18:37, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Source?

If it is quite alright with everyone, I'm going to remove the "WHO IS BRIDGET JONES???" source. Seeing as this is the English bit of Wikipedia and the page is slow to load and in an entirely different language, I feel it is time to say goodbye to it. Vaguely 18:32, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Bridget Jones.jpg

Image:Bridget Jones.jpg is being used on this article. Merger of Mark Darcy

I am currently working on the article Pride and Prejudice (1995 TV serial), and have researched its connections to Bridget Jones, which are quite significant. I still feel that Mark Darcy is not particularly notable in himself, especially when we take away his relation(s) to Bridget Jones and P&P. Daniel Cleaver, who has just as much significance as Mark in the story and is also played by a famous actor, doesn't have his own article either. I therefore propose to merge Mark Darcy into Bridget Jones. His article is already as in-depth as it can probably be real-world-wise; most future additions would be plot (WP:NOT#PLOT and WP:UNDUE, currently not a problem), and I am not a big fan of perma-stubs. Fictional columnist?

I feel I should check this out with others who are more familiar with the book, but to start with "fictional columnist" implies that she is a columnist within the fiction, which I don't think she is - the diary is secret. Billwilson5060 (talk) 19:56, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
