Largest suburb
[edit]What does "largest suburb in Europe" mean? Suburb is such a flexible term, that I don't see how this can be considered a hard fact. Croydon is a suburb of London, and it's larger than the whole of Aberdeen. Jamie Mercer 21:32, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed - there doesn't seem to be an independent claim here. I always thought L'Hospitalet de Llobregat was supposed to be the largest suburb in Europe, and that's ten times the size of BoD. Keith the Koala (talk) 22:41, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
Gordon Barracks
[edit]Part of its 20th century history was the Gordon Barracks, regimental headquarters of the Gordon Highlanders, and later the barracks where all the Highland Regiments trained, when it became the Highland Brigade Depot.
