Could someone please source the 'DEVASTATED BRIC-A-BRAC' reference? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nmclaughlin (talkcontribs) 2006-09-14T21:21:14

It's advertising. I removed it. Zora 21:08, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is the term "Bric-a-brac" essentially "Chotchkie" in French? -Przemyslaw 10 December 2006

-- I think it's more like knick-knacks, something that you only have because you think it looks nice on your shelf. I think Chotchkie (no idea where that came from) is more like swag: something given out by a company for free as a sort of advertisement (i.e. t-shirts with the company logo). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.95.233.174 (talk) 16:38, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- is there a relationship with Bric-a-brac and "Ab hoc et ab hac"? http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ab_hoc_et_ab_hac — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.245.64.207 (talk) 21:43, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
