Wikify tag
[edit]Removed wikifhy tag. It has sufficient wikilinks according to my judgement. Capitalistroadster (talk) 05:47, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- The wikification process includes more than adding wikilinks. Before removing maintenance tags, please familiarize yourself with the issues and process that the tag highlights, then make sure that the issues are properly addressed to improve the article. Thank you. Cindamuse (talk) 06:21, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- (a)You appear to require that this page exemplify standards 95% of wiki articles lack with the ISBNs. (b) It's easy to splash tags everywhere. It is somewhat more intelligent to roll up one's sleeves and chip in to some of that 'wikification' work yourself, if you think it indispensable. By all means do so. Otherwise the temptation to just remove an ugly, if technically correct, scar on the stub, will arise. Otiose pedantry on other people's work is not conducive to collaborative editing. In fact, I've done with this.Nishidani (talk) 06:39, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- I went through the article and provided copyediting along with wikification, prior to making the above comment. At this point, the article needs ISBNs. The notation to apply WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS is a poor one. Cindamuse (talk) 07:17, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- I.e. 5 minutes supervision, vs. my 5 hours of research and editing. So it would be appreciated, particularly since most of Plomley's bibliographical items lack ISBNs, only 7 from memory (yes, I do check those things), if you could hop in and add them. WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS, in context, refers to most of wikipedia, and vulgarity is not an argument, as you note on your page. Nishidani (talk) 09:16, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
